The Arctic is calling. Will you answer?

A global network of citizens and leaders answering a call from the Arctic, and a call to the world, to safeguard sea ice, glaciers and the web of life for future generations.

One mission: save the Arctic ice, protect the world’s future.

Sea ice and glaciers are our planet’s early-warning system. The Arctic is changing fast, and so is the cryosphere all over the world.

Combining wisdom, science and lived experience, we empower positive climate action by inspiring, educating and engaging people everywhere. Hope is active: when we act together, big dreams become reality.

Questions, answered

Can I contact a local representative in my own country or region?

Yes. Tell us where you’re from or which language you’re most comfortable in, and we’ll find someone to help you.

Will I see any wildlife?

You will experience Arctic wildlife. That may include walruses, seals, whales, puffins and other birds, Arctic foxes, reindeer and, with luck, polar bears.

Do I need to be physically fit to join?

No, but general good health is appropriate. If you have concerns about your physical abilities, please contact us.

Will it be cold?

It’s late summer, so expect around 5 °C with some wind chill. Good layering keeps you warm, and we send a clothing list after you sign up.
